Wreck of the Eduard Bohlen on the Skeleton Coast, Namibia
In 1909 the SS Eduard Bohlen ran around the coast of Namibia. Due to the encroaching dunes of the last 100 years, the ship is now a quarter mile (400m) from the sea and is covered in a sand dune. The ship is often used as an example of how dangerous and lonely the Namibian coast can be.
