Arrogance – such a universal trait
The existence of sheeple is proven by the large number of people who repeatedly vote against their own best self-interests in elections.
Valdis Klētnieks These days the word, in my experience, is used almost exclusively by people who are slavish members of some group or another that considers itself an intellectual elite relative to the rest of the world. A canonical example is the movement referred to by Charlie Stross as “libertoonians”.
